"After spending time at Watoto Wa Baraka I gained knowledge of a new vibrant culture, self-fulfillment, complete independence, and happiness in simplicity. I'm proud to say that I learned all of these from the beautiful children I was surrounded by. The family I gained while in Kenya will be thought of every day until I return to Watoto Wa Baraka, which I fully intend to do. My experience there is unforgettable and I look forward to taking part in the progression of this incredible orphanage and it's intelligent children".

"Hi everyone! Just popping by to say hi and tell you about my son's volunteering trip at Watoto Wa Baraka. I know how much he enjoyed the experience and that he completed some good work while there, painting the hall, digging the trenches for electric cables and for the water pipes from the new water tower. I would love... to let other parents know that you don't need to worry about your son or daughter making the trip because I know how well my son Jonathan was taken care of while volunteering. This was the first time he had been on a plane, he was 19 years old and flying alone. I need not have worried because Geoffrey met him at the airport and showed him to a very good but nicely priced hotel as he arrived very late. The next day was picked up from the hotel and taken to the orphange. I felt much more at ease knowing he would have a helping hand and a welcome as he arrived. I hope all future volunteers have an amazing trip as I know my son did!"
